Greek Myth Experience is a theatre company that brings Ancient Greek myths to life through contemporary performances and immersive experiences.
Rather than presenting mythology as something distant or historical, the company invites audiences to step inside the stories themselves, creating a unique connection between ancient narratives and modern-day spectators.
The challenge was to create an identity that felt unmistakably Greek, while avoiding the visual clichés often associated with Greek culture and tourism.
The concept
The identity is built around Pegasus, one of the most iconic creatures of Greek mythology.
Pegasus was chosen not simply because of its mythological origins, but because of what it represents. Throughout history, it has been associated with imagination, inspiration, creativity and the ability to transcend ordinary reality.
In many ways, these qualities mirror the role of theatre itself.
The symbol
The Pegasus symbol was developed by studying ancient Greek depictions found on pottery, sculptures and decorative objects.
Instead of creating a realistic illustration, the figure was simplified into a fluid line drawing that captures the elegance and movement of the original forms while feeling contemporary and distinctive.
The result is a mark that feels rooted in Greek culture without appearing historical or nostalgic.
It speaks to both the company's heritage and its forward-looking approach to storytelling.
